Activ8 has worked with Colonial Williamsburg on a variety of projects for over four years. The projects for Colonial Williamsburg have included a number of design, animation and production projects for web modules for the history and foundation sections of the site. Our most recent project has been to collaborate with Williamsburg on the conversion of the site to Coldfusion. The objective of the site repurposing was to create a system for ease of editing and expansion of the site to include database driven components.

Electronic Field Trips
Electronic Field Trips are web-based educational activities designed for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. They are interactive story-telling environments that teaches students about the economic, social and ratial development during the 18th century. They web sites are password protected, and they viewable upon request.

The team at Activ8 Designs has worked with the Specialized Information Services of the National Library of Medicine to develop a flash based "Interactive Guide to Commonly Encountered Toxic Substances" It contains original graphics, animation, and audio.
The site is being created to increase public awareness of common toxic substances in our environment.

The site contains our corporate history, mission, contact information, and corporate strategic partners. This site was launched in March of 2000.

KompositGlobal.com is the corporate site design for the German subsidiary of ABB. The site incorporates neutral colors with a clear navigation system for both German and English languages. Check out the interactive flash globe that has been implemented in flash as well as being integrated fully with the site content. The site was launched in spring of 2000.
